When the story is told summarises the key events of the rich past of the Seignorial Estate. From the changes made to the buildings, to the exceptional events that happened there, through the rumours surrounding its famous residents, you will discover many secrets buried on the premise.

Visit the crypt of St. Anne’s Church

Enter a mysterious and unique place that hides many secrets … From New France to the first half of the 20th century, notable and high placed had the privilege of being buried under the church of their parish.

The Seignorial Estate opens to the public on june 13th, 10 am to 5 pm every day, until Labor day. 

Meet the fiery Madeleine de Verchères, lordess of Sainte-Anne, get to know artist Elizabeth Hale – her drawings of the Saint-Anne Seigneurial Estate will transport you at the beginning of the 19th century- and bump into Prime Honoré Mercier in his secondary house. Sometimes respected, sometimes judged, they made, in their own way, a difference while living in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade.

If you feel like it, extend your visit and explore the Sainte-Anne church’s crypt – a mysterious space full of amazing anecdotes and incredible stories!

The Saint-Anne Seignorial Estate also offers: activities, group visits, a temporary exhibition about Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade history, magnificent gardens – ideal for a picnic – a charming shop featuring local produce and craft creations.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 AM to 5 PM. From the 2nd Sunday of June, until the 1st Monday of September.
