From pioneer to Prime – Virtual version
The Société d’histoire de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade presented, at the Seignorial Estate, a temporary exhibition retelling the 350 years of the city between 2017 and 2020. Now, discovers an extended version on the web. Board a canoe with notary Michel Roy dit Châtellerault and meet the first settlers of the lordships of Sainte-Anne’s river at the end of the 17th century. Then, accompany Jeffrey Alexandre Rousseau, federal deputy and banker, for a walk in the village at the beginning of the 20th century. The exhibit is free. Click here.

Permanent exhibition When the story is told… Offers you to discover the secrets of 3 popular figures who lived at the Saint-Anne Seignorial Estate. Meet lordess Madeleine de Verchères, get to know artist Elizabeth Hale and bump into Prime Honoré Mercier. They will reveal interesting details about their living in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade.

Sainte-Anne’s church crypt tour (Aged 9 and more)
Enter a mysterious and unique place hiding multiple secrets. From New-France to the first half of the 20th century, notables and high-ranking had the privilege to be buried under their parish’s church. Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade church’s crypt houses more than 180 mortal remains, the latest being from 1947. Dare go under the church; a space full of amazing anecdotes and incredible stories!
