Built to house Sainte-Anne’s lords, observe the manor’s evolution throughout the centuries. Discover how certain power dynamics sculpted the seigneury and the identity of its inhabitants. We certainly can not omit prominent figures who made history, such as Madeleine de Verchères, Elizabeth Hale and Honoré Mercier. However, this new exhibition brings back to light some forgotten figures who were hidden behind those celebrated by classical history as power figures.
